Fall is my favorite time to visit the desert. The contrast of the red rocks and the leaves changing is amazing! For fall break this year, we knew we had to get to the desert and backpack. Blake planned a fun weekend trip to Little Death Hollow. I usually like to help plan the trip with him but grad school is difficult and all consuming so I wasn’t able to really help. But this trip was perfect and a great escape from school. Little Death Hollow was pretty cool; we actually weren’t as impressed as we thought we would be (we aren’t desert snobs! It just wasn’t as slotty as we had imagined.).
Fall is definitely my favorite time of year. The weather is the perfect temperature and all my favorite colors are present. We spent lots of time in the mountains throughout the season. I’m so sad that it is slowly coming to an end but am super grateful that it lasted as long as it did.
